Many families who live a state or two away (or more) are interested in having a puppy shipped to them, and we have shipped dozens of puppies as far away as Washington state. We have found that ground transportation is the least stressful on the puppies and is the most economical as well. Putting a puppy in the cargo hold of an airplane is very stressful.  Not only because of the noise, but also the temperature extremes that they must endure. As a result, we recommend a company called Citizen Shipper (www.citizenshipper.com). It works kind of like UBER. You tell them the time frame that you want the puppy transported and provide the two address, and then you will receive bids from independent contractors. Furry paws is a transport company on the east coast of the US that we have had much success with. You then can look at the reviews of each transporter and select the one you are most comfortable with. After that, they get with us and they will pick up the puppy here and deliver him or her to your home. It couldn’t be simpler. We do require that the puppy be paid in full before leaving the Husky Patch, and many people wait until the transporter arrives for the pickup to verify that the puppy is alive and well before sending the electronic payment. We will gladly send a video of the transporter with your puppy before you make the final payment. We are happy to do this because we are aware of the many scammers that unfortunately prey on puppy buyers.
